Questions
What it checks, what it costs, and where it stops.
Every number on this page is countable in the product. If an answer here ever stops matching what the software does, the answer is the thing that is wrong.
What does Dane Digital actually do?
We build and run marketing for businesses in regulated industries — websites, content, campaigns and follow-up — with every piece screened against that industry's advertising rules before it publishes rather than after.
You can hire us to run it for you, or use the software and run it yourself.
What is the compliance gate, and what does it actually check?
It reads your copy and flags the phrases and claims a reviewer most often catches. It currently holds 509 prohibited phrases across nine separate rule sets.
It also holds 29 negation words, which is why “we can't guarantee a closing date” is not blocked as a guarantee — it is noted and cleared. The gate itself is covered by an automated test suite that runs on every build — it gets checked the same way your posts do.
Which industries are covered?
Nine industry rule sets today, each with its own phrase list, disclosures and required identifiers:
- Real estate — Fair Housing, 282 phrases
- Private offerings — Reg D, 47 phrases
- Mortgage — Reg Z, 51 phrases
- Medical — 36 phrases
- Wellness — 27 phrases
- Law — ABA Model Rules 7.1 and 7.2, 28 phrases
- Text messages — TCPA, 17 phrases
- Contracting — 16 phrases
You can add your own phrases on top. Your list is added to the industry list, never swapped in place of it.
Is the checker really free?
Yes. The checkers on this site are free, need no sign-in, and run the same engine as the paid product. Paste real copy into the checker and see what comes back before you decide anything.
Is this legal advice?
No. It is a screening tool, not legal advice, and it does not make anything compliant on its own. It catches the phrases and claims a reviewer most often flags — your compliance officer or counsel has the last word, always.
What does it cost?
A site built to be read, with every word checked, is $499 to build and $99 a month after that. The gate on its own is $49 a month. For a brokerage, $299 a month covers every agent. Month to month, no setup fees, no contracts. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
If you would rather it were handled for you, the done-for-you agency side is $299 a month. Brokerages that want every agent's listings screened should look at the Founding Broker Program.
Do you build websites too?
Yes. A conversion-focused site on your own brand is included in Pro + Site, with hosting, updates, edits and lead capture wired to your inbox. Recent builds are here.
Is the demo the real software, or a video of it?
It is the real application, running with a full sample week already inside it: posts, a calendar, approvals and a media library, seeded for that industry. You can click into any of it. Nothing is a screenshot.
Do I have to sign up to look around?
No. Nothing is asked of you at the door: no email, no account, no card. The one place we ask for anything is the last stop of the guided tour, where the price sits. Leave before then and you have given us nothing.
Will the demo be branded for my business?
No. The demo wears a sample brand, and the banner along the bottom says so. A hub built for you is the one that carries your name, your colours and your logo. What you are judging in the demo is the machinery, not the paint.
What if my trade is not one of the six?
Book a call and say what you do. The six exist because each one needed its own rulebook written and checked. The engine can run a general rule set in the meantime, but we will not pretend a rulebook exists for your industry when it does not.
How do I get started?
Run your own copy through the free checker first — it costs nothing and it is the fastest way to tell whether any of this is useful to you.
If it is, pick a plan or book a strategy call and we will set it up with you.
Paste something you already published.
The checker is free and needs no sign-in. It runs the same engine the paid product runs, against your industry's rule set.
A screening tool, not legal advice.
